Job Summary: Hiring a Junior Production Engineer to support and enhance reliability of Java-based production systems. The role involves troubleshooting, SQL analysis, automation, and working in AWS environments to ensure stable and scalable services. Key Responsibilities: Provide production support, incident triage, and root cause analysis Develop automation to reduce manual operational efforts Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting Improve system performance, reliability, and observability (logs, metrics, alerts) Support deployments, releases, and change management activities Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution Document processes and drive continuous improvement Required Skills: 2+ years in production support / SRE / operations Strong Java and SQL skills Experience with scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell) and automation Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management practices Preferred Skills: Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.) Exposure to CI/CD, Terraform/CloudFormation Understanding of distributed systems and monitoring tools Note – VBeyond is fully committed to Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity.
