Position Overview

Industrial Systems Consulting (ISC) is seeking experienced Field Verification / P&ID Technicians to support onsite work aligning field conditions with engineering drawings.

This role is focused on ensuring that P&IDs, equipment data, and system configurations accurately reflect what is installed and operating in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform plant walkdowns to verify equipment, piping systems, and instrumentation
• Identify discrepancies between field conditions and existing P&IDs
• Mark up and redline P&IDs with accurate field data
• Support the creation and updating of as-built drawings
• Document equipment tag information, line numbers, and system configurations
• Work closely with engineers and designers to resolve discrepancies
• Capture field data clearly and accurately for downstream updates

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial facilities (oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or similar)
• Strong understanding of P&IDs, piping systems, and plant layout
• Experience performing field walkdowns / as-built verification
• Ability to interpret and update engineering drawings
• Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD Plant 3D (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field

Preferred Qualifications

• Background as a piping designer, field engineer, or maintenance technician
• Experience with brownfield facilities where xywuqvp drawings are incomplete or outdated
• Ability to work directly with operations and maintenance personnel
