The Sales Representative will play a key role in driving that growth by taking ownership of both new business development and ongoing account expansion. This is a highly proactive, in-office position designed for someone who is comfortable hunting for new opportunities while also nurturing and growing existing relationships. You'll be expected to think strategically about where the next opportunities are coming from, while also executing daily outreach and follow-up to build a consistent pipeline.

This role goes beyond transactional salesit requires someone who can understand the broader market, identify gaps, and position solutions effectively. You'll work closely with internal teams, gain exposure to multiple parts of the business, and develop a strong understanding of both the product line and customer base. Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and trade shows
  • Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline by consistently generating and qualifying leads
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to uncover new growth opportunities across industries and regions
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand into new verticals or applications
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships through consistent follow-up and value-driven communication
  • Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and repeat business opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing product recommendations and resolving issues as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales initiatives, customer needs, and market expansion efforts
  • Participate in cross-training to understand customer service workflows and support order processing when needed
  • Assist customer service during high-demand periods to ensure a high level of responsiveness and accuracy
  • Travel periodically to visit clients, attend industry events, and support relationship development
  • Travel internationally a few times per quarter (including Asia) to visit manufacturing partners and facilities
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally within industrial products, manufacturing, distribution, or a related field
  • Experience selling into oil & gas, construction, or working with distributors/wholesalers is strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build a pipeline through outbound efforts
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify opportunities and think strategically
  • Comfortable working in an in-office environment with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Compensation
  • Base salary: $80,000 $100,000+ depending on experience
  • Performance-based bonus tied to KPIs and overall team sales performance
  • Team-based commission structure with strong earning potential
