The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager/Director supports the financial management and planning activities of the finance department. This role involves preparing financial reports, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis. The FP&A Manager/Director works closely with the Head of Finance to ensure the accuracy of financial information and compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Developing and managing monthly cash flow plans to ensure adequate liquidity and financial stability.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to management, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures related to financial management, budgeting, and accounting.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and optimize business processes.
  • Supporting the evaluation of investment opportunities and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modeling.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
  • Participating in ad hoc special projects for the team as needed.
  • Performing other duties and special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a related field.
  • Bilingual in Korean/English required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in an accounting firm preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability for conceptual thinking.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and provide actionable insights.
