Account Manager Location: Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid after 90 days (local candidates only) Compensation & Schedule $65,000-$70,000 base salary (based on experience) Commission/bonus opportunity (up to $25K per quarter, performance-based) Total compensation includes base + earning potential tied to retention, growth, and additional opportunities Full-time, Monday-Friday ~20% travel (client meetings, trade shows, events) About the Role This is a client-facing Account Manager role focused on owning and growing an existing book of business, with an emphasis on retention, relationship management, and revenue growth. You'll act as a strategic partner to clients-helping them get the most value from services while identifying opportunities to expand and grow accounts over time. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a $2M-$5M book of business through retention and expansion strategies Drive revenue by increasing client utilization of products and services Serve as a consultative partner by analyzing client needs and recommending solutions Support and develop client accounts, including training and ongoing account management Document and communicate client requirements to support project planning and execution Build strong client relationships and respond quickly to inquiries or issues Support new business efforts (~30% of the role) Represent the organization at client meetings, trade shows, and events Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or consultative sales Proven track record of client retention, relationship management, and revenue growth Strong communication skills with ability to present solutions and influence decisions Preferred Background Experience in marketing, print, technology, SaaS, or solution-based environments Experience managing and growing a book of business or portfolio of clients Strong consultative selling and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced environment Tools & Systems CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Client account databases and internal systems This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships and growing accounts-not a pure cold-calling role.
