Generac Industrial Strategic Programs (GISP) is charged with creating and scaling new growth markets for Generac Industrial Energy. This role is built for a front-end market creatorsomeone who aggressively identifies opportunity, opens doors, and converts complex energy challenges into executed commercial projects.
The Strategic Industry Business Developer will hunt, originate, and close large, integrated distributed energy solutions across priority Texas markets. This individual will not wait for inbound leads or fully defined opportunities. Instead, they will proactively engage customers, shape demand, structure solutions, and drive projects from first conversation through execution.
This role requires deep fluency in distributed energy resources, strong commercial instincts, and the confidence to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving markets. Success is measured by pipeline created, opportunities advanced, and revenue deliverednot activity for activity's sake.
