Job Details

Primary responsibilities include supporting the domestic tax function including sales/use and income/franchise tax compliance, researching domestic tax issues, and tax department projects for multiple legal entities doing business in multiple states.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain company sales tax compliance calendarFile sales/use tax returns to multiple statesAssist with sales/use tax accrual reconciliationsAssist with gathering documentation for federal and state income tax filingsPerform tax research to determine appropriate tax treatment of transactionsFollow up on tax notices from state departments of revenuePrepare state tax registrationsAssist with documentation requests from state and local tax auditorsAssist with quarterly estimated income tax paymentsVarious projects associated with tax compliance, audits, and planningQualificationsBA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance1-3 years of experience in public accounting or industry tax departmentExperience with multi-state sales/use tax complianceFamiliar with State income tax compliance and apportionmentExperience with ERP systems, Sage 100 a plusExperience with Avalara preferredIntermediate to advanced MS Office skills, primarily ExcelIAbility to perform responsibilities effectively and efficiently while working remotely#J-18808-Ljbffr
