Description: Employment Litigation Associate Attorneys – Senior (6+ Years) and Mid-Level (3+ Years) San Francisco, CA $175,000+ per year (commensurate with experience) Our client is seeking a Senior and Mid-Level Litigation Associates to join its Employment Law Practice in San Francisco. This role offers a unique blend of high-stakes litigation and strategic counseling, representing both employers and employees across a wide range of employment matters. About the Role This position is ideal for an experienced attorney who thrives in a dynamic environment, handling complex disputes while also advising clients on compliance, risk mitigation, and personnel decisions. Associates work closely with partners and take on meaningful responsibility from day one. Key Responsibilities Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and substantive briefs Conduct and defend depositions Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences Provide strategic litigation and pre-litigation advice Handle workplace investigations and internal assessments Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and agencies Practice Areas Include Discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination claims Wage & hour litigation (including class and representative actions) Executive compensation and separation disputes Trade secret and unfair competition matters Employer-side counseling (compliance, policies, investigations) Qualifications 3+ years of litigation experience (state and/or federal court) Employment litigation experience required Strong background in dispositive motions and discovery management Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills Working knowledge of California employment law and civil procedure Active California Bar membership (or ability to obtain promptly) What Our Client Offers A balanced plaintiff/defense employment practice Early responsibility and hands-on experience Direct client interaction and strategic involvement Lean staffing with close partner collaboration Competitive compensation Interested applicants can send their resume to Chelsea Johnson at cjohnson@oncallcounsel.com!
