The business we are supporting has gone through an exceptional period of growth on a global scale, with projects spanning the Americas, Asia and Europe. Following their continued success and evolution, this position has been identified as a key pillar of support to the executive leadership team as we create a new in-house auditing department.

The role:

Reporting directly to the Board and the Audit Committee, you will be responsible for internal audits and will establish, lead, and execute the internal audit function, operating initially as a one person department with the ability to scale as the organization grows.

This will be a senior appointment that comes with a high degree of autonomy, you will need to be able to engage effectively with the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee, while remaining hands-on and execution oriented.

The focus will be on operational processes such as safety procedures and procurement, alongside finanical controls.

Ideal experience:

We're looking to bring in someone with a strong background in managing or taking lead on internal auditing processes. This position requires a shift in mindset, where the business will be transitioning from an external auditing structure, to an in-house model. xywuqvp

The focus will now be on how they can improve operational efficieny, this involves adapting to a broader scope beyond finance, managing long term stakeholder relationships, and moving to a strategic, proactive partnership that improves controls.

Having the ability to report upwards and partner directly with executive leadership is a must in this appointment, as you'll be reporting directly into the company CFO.
