Job Title: PeopleSoft Oracle Financial Consultant

Overview:

Hospital Organization client is seeking a PeopleSoft Oracle Financial Consultant with strong healthcare financial operations experience to support and optimize enterprise financial systems. This role will focus on PeopleSoft Financialsdata integration, and alignment with clinical and hospital operations

This is not just a technical role — they need someone who understands how financial systems impact hospital workflows, patient services, and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead configuration, support, and optimization of Oracle PeopleSoft Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Billing)
• Design and implement data integrations between PeopleSoft, SAP, and other enterprise systems (EHR, supply chain, etc.)
• Partner with clinical operations and hospital finance teams to align system functionality with real-world workflows
• Analyze and improve financial data flows across systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity
• Support month-end/year-end close processes, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot system issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Document system configurations, integrations, and business processes

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Financials
• Strong hands-on experience with data integration (APIs, ETL tools, middleware, or custom integrations)
• Experience working in healthcare or hospital environments
• Solid understanding of financial operations (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, reporting)
• Experience integrating or working alongside SAP environments
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong stakeholder communication skills (finance + clinical teams)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting public health systems or large hospital networks
• Familiarity with clinical operations workflows and how they impact financial systems
• Experience with EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
• Knowledge of compliance standards (HIPAA, healthcare financial regulations)
• Prior experience in system implementations or transformations
