Bilingual Mandarin Accountant

Location: Houston, TX

Position Summary

We are seeking an Accountant to handle daily accounting, inventory management, cost tracking, and support ERP system implementation and optimization. This role works closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate financial and inventory data.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily accounting: journal entries, reconciliations, and record maintenance
• Process accounts payable and vendor payments
• Maintain and reconcile inventory records (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and cycle counts
• Perform product cost calculation and analysis (materials, labor, overhead)
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Support ERP system implementation and optimization, ensuring accurate financial and inventory data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Inventory accounting and warehouse count experience
• Cost accounting knowledge
• ERP system experience or participation in ERP implementation preferred
• Proficient in Excel
• Bilingual Mandarin and English is preferred. May need to communicate with Chinese team.

Note: Occasional warehouse work for inventory counts and cost tracking is required.
