About the Company

A leading regulated energy organization is seeking an experienced Manager, Project Controls to provide oversight and assurance for large, complex capital projects within a growing New Generation portfolio.

About the Role

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on cost and schedule predictability, risk management, and governance, working closely with Project and Construction Managers to ensure disciplined project execution across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on oversight and assurance for major capital projects to ensure cost, schedule, and risk certainty
• Lead and support stage-gate / governance reviews, including evaluation of business cases and control deliverables
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in project controls, risk management, change control, and contingency management
• Establish and continuously improve project management and controls standards
• Mentor and develop project controls professionals; deliver training in project controls disciplines (e.g., QRA)
• Influence outcomes without direct authority, partnering across project teams and senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in capital project development and project controls
• Background supporting large, complex utility, energy, or oil & gas projects
• Strong experience working with or alongside EPC / engineering organizations
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (MBA a plus)
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
