Security Officer

Supports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Compensation: $15.94/hr. Shift: 1600-0000. Responsibilities include maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, and serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a completed high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand, walk, move, and lift objects up to 80 lbs., valid driver's license, and previous work experience with the public in a service setting.

Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, using hands, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting objects 25 pounds or more, and specific vision abilities. Work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or quiet and slow-paced.
