Houston Community College (HCC) is one of the country's largest singly-accredited, open-admission, community colleges offering associate degrees, certificates, workforce training, and lifelong learning opportunities.
Responsible for enforcing the college rules, parking and traffic regulations, and providing other security and safety related services as requested by the college administration.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. College preferred.
Two years military, security officer experience or experience in criminal justice careers, such as police officers, court clerks, bailiffs, corrections officers, criminalists, etc. preferred.
This is a security sensitive position as defined under the Texas Education Code, Section 51.215; the successful applicant will be required to undergo a background check, physical and driving record check (fewer than 3 moving violations in the previous 36 months and no DUIs). Successful applicants will be subjected to controlled substance testing. Per HCC Policy C: 4.7 Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace, a drug and/or alcohol test is required if a conditional job offer is made.
