Warehouse Operations & Mechanical Support

Location: Houston, TX (On-site) Compensation: $55,000 – $60,000 per year + Performance Bonuses Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays with a mid-week comp day)

At Filta, we don't just manage kitchens; we transform them. We are looking for a Warehouse Operations & Mechanical Support specialist who is more interested in "doing" than just "managing." This isn't a desk job. We need a hungry, mechanically inclined individual to serve as the backbone of our Houston branch. You'll be walking into a high-energy environment where you'll start from scratch—organizing the warehouse, maintaining the fleet, and fixing equipment. What You'll Do

You are responsible for the total readiness of our service team. If the vans aren't stocked or the equipment isn't running, we aren't in business.

• Mechanical Troubleshooting: Take ownership of our proprietary filtration units and pumps; you'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing our gear.
• Fleet Readiness: Manage the preventative maintenance for our service vans (oil changes, tires, general upkeep) and ensure every vehicle is cleaned, stocked, and ready to hit the road.
• Inventory Ownership: Develop and run the system for tracking supplies like cooking oil and filtration materials so we never run dry.
• Warehouse Setup: Take a "blank slate" warehouse and turn it into a high-efficiency hub. You'll decide where the tools go and how the daily check-in/out process works.
• Field Support: Don't get too comfortable in the warehouse—you'll jump into the field occasionally to perform cleanings or support our technicians during high-volume periods.

• Mechanically Inclined: You are naturally "handy." You enjoy taking things apart to see how they work and you're comfortable using power tools and performing basic vehicle maintenance.
• Hands-On Mentality: You prefer getting your hands dirty. You'd rather lead by example and "do the work" than sit in an office.
• Service-Oriented: You understand the urgency of a service-based business (like HVAC, plumbing, or restoration). You know that if the fleet isn't out of the gate by 7:00 AM, we're behind.
• A "Builder": You are hungry to prove yourself. You see a messy warehouse as an opportunity to create a perfect system and you're driven to improve things every single day.
• Reliable Driver: You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (this is a firm requirement).
