JOB DUTIES:
Set-ups and operates manual mills and lathes on a limited variety of materials with litmited assistance
Uses milling, drilling, grinding, and other machines
Lays out work and produces quality parts
Decipher sketches, blueprints, and engineering details with assistance
Carries a job through from raw materials to the finished products from drawings, sketches, samples or verbal instruction
Sharpens, reworks, resets and repairs cutting tools
Inspects and checks parts being produced
Maintains accurate production records and job history
Keeps a clean and orderly work area
Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution required
3+ years of experience in manual machining
Has a mid level knowledge of machine uses and manufacturing materials

Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
Be able to lift and/or move 35 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
