"To support laboratory operations related to specimen triage and delivery, bio hazardous and chemical supply delivery,

storage, and management; monitor and manage laboratory equipment water chemistry requirements."

"• Triages patient specimens as they are received into the laboratory per established priority codes.

• Accurately documents specimen receipt time.

• Delivers patient samples received to the appropriate areas in a timely manner (Material Handling).

• Delivers patient samples received from outside clients and delivers them to the appropriate areas in a timely manner."

Skills

"• Knowledge of hospital laboratory operations, biological, infectious and chemical material handling and

warehouse/inventory operations.

• Good communication skills, both oral and written; and the ability to operate glassware washers, distilled water

equipment; basic PC skills."

Required- H.S. Diploma or GED

Required- 1 year related work experience
