DESCRIPTION

Sushi Masa is looking for a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant focused on delivering fresh, high-quality Japanese cuisine and excellent guest experiences. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items including hot kitchen dishes (hibachi, teriyaki, tempura, noodles, etc.) according to Sushi Masa standards
• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations before and during service
• Ensure all food is prepared consistently, quickly, and with attention to presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Communicate effectively with sushi chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with prep work, inventory, and restocking as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (Japanese cuisine experience a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
