Sr Director Of Process Engineering & Operations

Travel: Up to 50%

Job Type: Full-Time

Exempt Compensation: $200-250k

Our client is seeking an experienced Sr Director of Process Engineering and Operations. This is a highly visible role to senior management with a well established organization. Drive engineering excellence across the multiple locations and process improvements in plants.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering Leadership - maintain standardization of engineering across locations nationally
• Partner with local leadership to create process improvement and automation
• Six Sigma adherence
• Provide technical engineering oversight resulting in improvement product quality and reduction of safety incidents
• Ensure OSHA compliance - electrical, mechanical and environmental
• Develop and manage budget for engineering and maintenance divisions of organization

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field required).
• Advanced degree, PE license, or certifications (Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CMRT) +++
• Min of 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
• Demonstrated success managing trades-based maintenance teams (welders, electricians, technicians).
• Ability to travel up to 50%
