Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and safety of a building's physical infrastructure and equipment. This role ensures that all facilities are operational and meet health and safety standards.
Repairs: Performs general upkeep and repairs of the facility, addressing issues like plumbing, electrical, property maintenance. Material Movement: Move/relocate direct and indirect materials as needed to meet facilities requirements. Safety: Ensure that all building systems are compliant with safety regulations and conduct regular safety checks. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and external contractors to ensure timely and effective maintenance solutions.
Experience: Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician typically works indoors but may also be required to perform tasks outside or in varying environmental conditions. This role may involve working in high places, confined spaces, and using various tools and machinery.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $19.00
