We are working with a Tier1 global law firm as they look to build out a finance practice in both Dallas and Houston.

The client is open to primarily restructuring, special situations and debt finance profiles.

This is a chance to join an elite law firm as they capitalize on aggressive growth in the state, by building out a young practice. It is the perfect role for an attorney that is keen to step into a practice with plenty of white space to grow into.

Candidates should have a combination of the following experience:

Representing creditors or borrowers in connection with liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and/or special situations financings; high profile, top of the capital structure representations, including representing hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds and other financial institutions in both chapter 11 cases and out of court restructurings.

Private equity acquisition finance experience is helpful and experience with oil- and gas-related transactions also being preferred.

Compensation for this role is in line with the "Cravath Scale" and therefore, will depend on experience.
