Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and proactive SeniorHuman Resources Business Partner to lead all HR functional areas for our manufacturing facility in Huston TX. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a significant background in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving talent acquisition, enhancing employee relations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a safe, productive workplace culture. You will be a key team member in the HR organization and serve as a key business partner to site leadership, supporting both production goals and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

• Develop and implement talent strategies to attract and retain skilled manufacturing talent.

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

• Partner with site leadership to forecast hiring needs, optimize turnover rates, and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet production demands.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO) and OSHA regulations.

• Maintain accurate personnel records, documentation, and compliance with health and safety standards.

• Manage workers' compensation claims, unemployment insurance.

Employee Relations & Culture:

• Act as a trusted advisor to staff and management, resolving employee grievances, conducting investigations, and handling disciplinary actions with fairness. • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement to improve retention.

• Conduct employee coaching, counseling, and training for supervisors regarding performance management.

HR Functional Areas & Strategy:

• Oversee performance management, compensation planning, and benefits administration for the site.

• Develop and update site policies and procedures to align with manufacturing goals.

• Utilize HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, time-to-fill) to make data-driven decisions and report to leadership.

• Drive organizational improvement projects in collaboration with other HR colleagues and other departments.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a manufacturing/industrial environment

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Language: Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (verbal)

Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and OSHA requirements.

Recruitment Expertise: Demonstrated experience in high-volume recruiting for hourly and technical manufacturing positions.

Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels, from the shop floor to senior management.

Systems Proficiency: Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
