Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator II

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract Possible extension

Pay Rate: $37–40/hr on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Controls Coordinator II to support project execution through cost tracking, forecasting, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project control plans, budgets, and work breakdown structures (WBS)
• Track project costs, forecasts, and budget performance
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for cost/schedule deviations
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
• Monitor project milestones, progress, and completion timelines
• Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and track CPI metrics
• Support change management processes including PCOs and funding requests
• Collaborate with project and construction teams to ensure alignment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project controls or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting, and project tracking
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Proficiency in Oracle, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills
