Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, highly adaptable Private Chef to provide exceptional culinary services for a high-net-worth client, their family, guests, and staff across multiple residences.

This role requires a polished professional who can plan, prepare, and execute daily meals to the highest standard, while also supporting intimate gatherings and larger in-home events. The Chef will be responsible for menu development, kitchen operations, sourcing, and dietary management, ensuring a seamless and elevated dining experience at all times.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrates discretion and flexibility, and is willing to travel domestically and internationally on short notice to maintain continuity of service across the client's residences and travel schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary & Service Execution

  • Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) tailored to client preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Create diverse, seasonal, and nutritionally balanced menus with a focus on quality, creativity, and presentation.
  • Accommodate special dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences for the client, guests, and staff.
  • Execute both formal and informal dining service, including plating, timing, and presentation standards.
  • Provide on-demand meal service with flexibility to adjust schedules and menus as needed.

Travel & Multi-Residence Support

  • Travel with the client to domestic and international residences on short notice.
  • Coordinate kitchen setup, provisioning, and operations in multiple locations, including unfamiliar environments.
  • Adapt quickly to varying kitchen facilities, cultural cuisines, and sourcing challenges while maintaining consistency in service.

Events & Guest Experience

  • Plan and execute private dinners, small gatherings, and occasional larger in-home events.
  • Collaborate with estate staff and external vendors to deliver seamless event experiences.
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver a highly personalized, discreet service experience.

Qualifications:

Education and Certification

  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience preferred.

  • Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Private Chef for a high-net-worth individual or family.

  • Experience in multi-residence households, yachts, or luxury hospitality environments strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience with international travel in a private service role.

  • Advanced culinary skills across multiple cuisines, including baking and pastry.
  • Strong understanding of nutrition, dietary planning, and specialty diets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in both food quality and presentation.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain quickly).
  • Ability to pass background and reference checks.
