Job Summary

The Regional Director of LCL Product Development is the primary architect and advocate for the LCL brand within CEVA Logistics North America. This leadership role is responsible for the strategic growth and internal brand building of the LCL product line, ensuring it remains a cornerstone of CEVA's ocean freight offering. You will lead the transition of volume into our "own box" network, ensuring that CEVA's internal consolidation services are the first choice for our sales teams and customers.

This is a high-visibility role that bridges the gap between CEVA's global product vision and regional execution by directly supporting Business Development Managers (BDs) with expert solution design and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • LCL Brand Stewardship: Lead the regional identity and growth of the LCL brand, driving internal awareness and adoption across all North American clusters to ensure product consistency.
  • BD Support & Consultancy: Act as the dedicated subject matter expert for the CEVA Business Development community, providing the technical and commercial support needed to win high-value accounts.
  • Solution Design: Directly collaborate with BDs to architect end-to-end LCL solutions for complex prospect requirements, ensuring the internal brand value proposition is front and center.
  • Joint Customer Engagement: Lead joint customer calls and weekly coordination meetings with BD teams to align on CEVA's growth ambitions and account development plans.
  • "Own Box" Network Growth: Design and implement strategies to increase "own box" percentage, identifying new lane-pair opportunities to expand CEVA's internal consolidation footprint.
  • Cargo Steering & Policy: Define and enforce regional cargo steering mandates, ensuring volume is directed toward CEVA internal services and strategic partners to maximize network density.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape to ensure the CEVA LCL brand offering remains differentiated and market-leading.

Required Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in Ocean Freight, with a deep specialization in LCL product dynamics and consolidation networks.
  • Proven track record in brand building or product management within a global logistics framework like CEVA.
  • Exceptional ability to partner with sales teams to translate network capabilities into persuasive commercial value propositions.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external C-suite executives.
