A rapidly growing engineering organization is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II with demonstrated experience in the design and development of turbine-based power generation systems, along with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles. This individual will play a key role in supporting ongoing growth initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions and contribute to new product development efforts.

Role and Responsibilities
? Lead the design, development, and validation of power generation equipment and associated systems.
? Manage engineering projects from initial concept through full execution, ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to timelines.
? Apply core mechanical engineering principles to address complex design, manufacturing, and operational challenges.
? Identify, source, and qualify critical components for equipment builds, optimizing for cost, quality, and lead time.
? Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support system upgrades, modifications, and new product introductions.
? Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
? Evaluate and improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
? Stay current with relevant industry standards, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
? Support and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Professional Qualifications
? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
? Approximately 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, including hands-on involvement in turbine or rotating equipment systems.
? Proven experience in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of power generation or similar industrial equipment.
? Strong understanding of supply chain processes and vendor management.
? Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
