Project Support Coordinator (Field / Site-Based)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Support Coordinator to support the field execution of our specialized aquarium construction projects across the U.S.

This is a site-based, hands-on role suited to someone with construction experience who is comfortable working in the field, coordinating crews, and keeping complex installations moving.

Based out of Houston, you will travel to project sites and remain onsite for the duration of each project. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and installation teams to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

What You'll Do

Site Coordination & Execution

• Support and coordinate daily site activities and installation works
• Assist with sequencing of trades and ensure work progresses to schedule
• Act as a key on-site link between crews, subcontractors, and project leadership
• Help keep the job moving by identifying and resolving issues early

Construction & Installation Support

• Coordinate installation of acrylic panels, FRP tanks, waterproofing systems, and life support systems (LSS)
• Review drawings and site conditions to ensure work is buildable and aligned with design intent
• Assist with troubleshooting and coordinating technical challenges on-site

Crew, Materials & Logistics

• Help coordinate labor, materials, and equipment deliveries
• Work closely with subcontractors and specialist installers on a daily basis
• Track progress and maintain accurate site records and documentation

Safety & Compliance

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on-site
• Support toolbox talks and daily safety coordination
• Identify and escalate risks before they impact the job

Reporting & Project Support

• Maintain daily and weekly reports, including photos and progress updates
• Provide clear updates to the Senior Project Manager
• Assist with general site logistics, coordination, and project closeout

What We're Looking For

• 3–8 years of construction, installation, or field coordination experience
• Comfortable working on-site full-time and traveling for projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
• Hands-on mindset — willing to be in the field, not behind a desk
• Organized, proactive, and able to keep multiple moving parts aligned
• Strong communication skills with crews and subcontractors
• Experience with specialty construction, marine, industrial, or similar work is a plus
