Quality Control Engineer

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all materials, equipment, and services comply with quality standards and specifications required for safe and efficient operations. The QC Engineer will oversee quality control processes across various stages of the project lifecycle, from procurement and fabrication to offshore installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining change control, cost reports, etc.
  • Coordinating and assembling the monthly progress reports
  • Ensuring all engineering and construction activities meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to confirm that they align with contract requirements.
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures, inspection checklists, and test plans.
  • Managing the documentation of inspection and test reports and other quality-related documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international quality standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Preparing detailed quality control reports, including findings, actions, and recommendations for management review.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, certifications, and compliance checks.

Requirements include:

  • Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience of 5+ years of experience in within the offshore oil & gas industry
  • Advanced level proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning and Project Controls
  • Advanced experience in MS Office: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced experience with SAP
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills to assess quality issues, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
