Job Description Bachelors degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. This full-time position aligns with the academic calendar, running from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027. As an SLPA in this supportive educational environment, you will collaborate with supervising SLPs and school staff to enhance student communication skills throughout the school year. Key Qualifications:Current, active SLPA licensure required for school practice Previous experience working with PreK-12 student populations in educational settings is highly valued Completion of district-required background check (fingerprinting) prior to assignment Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to adapt to changing caseload needs and school assignments as determined Primary Responsibilities:Deliver direct speech-language interventions to students as guided by supervising SLPs Implement tailored therapy plans to support communication goals Collect and maintain accurate student data and progress notes Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to team planning as needed Engage with faculty, parents, and caregivers to foster student success Fulfill assigned hours (37.5 per week: Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute lunch break) in accordance with the district calendar This position offers an opportunity to make a difference in children's lives while growing your skills in a collaborative school-based setting.
