Electrical Field Supervisor - Northeast (PA) Region

Position Summary

The Electrical Field Supervisor (EFS) coordinates and communicates issues, concerns, and projects with all EVO team members involved with any endeavor particular to the Fleet, Facility or location as dictated by ongoing company operations. EFS review planned work, maintenance, and repairs with the oversight of maintaining all applicable codes both safety (OSHA, MSHA, NIOSH, DOT) as well as applicable Electrical Codes (NEC, CSA, IEEE Standards, NETA).

Essential Functions

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English.
  • Supervises MV electricians and Electronic Techs.
  • Develops workflow for the field service team.
  • Reviews planned work, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Assists ET/MV Teams with trouble shooting equipment to prevent non-production time and/or pumping efficiencies.
  • Schedules and coordinates repairs of equipment when emergency break downs occur.
  • Ensures field operations follow SOP's, best practices, and policies.
  • Researches and manages all documentation on all equipment. (Drawings, schematics, BOMS's etc.)
  • Monitors and provides fleet assistance to ensure inventory and work orders are being completed properly.
  • Holds daily meetings with Electrical and Operation teams. Maintains a high level of communication with Regional Managers, Operations Supervisors/Manager, Service Supervisors and Asset Integrity Team.
  • Works with vendors to make repairs and improve reliability and efficiencies of equipment.
  • Monitors progression of ET/MV/MECH Teams and their performance in the field.
  • Manages the teams with onboarding of new employees and assigning mentors for the new employees.
  • Ensures all team members are always working safely, following Evolution's LOTO policy.
  • Complies with all government, industry and EVO regulations and standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance.
  • Proficiency in spoken English language.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • U.S. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Some college course work completion and/or 2-year technical degree in a related, relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years field experience in electrical systems and processes with electrical controls and networking.
  • External candidates must have experience in Management and/or Supervisory Role.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to attend, participate, and successfully complete the scheduled New Hire Safety training, including but not limited to H 2 S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training.
  • Attends and successfully completes annual safety and operations recertification training.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12-hour shifts for 14 consecutive days.
  • High mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to successfully create and work within a team environment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to receive instruction well and provide coaching and constructive feedback in interactions with other employees in a positive manner, within the framework of assigned work groups.
  • Fully knowledgeable, compliant, and proactively promote and utilize digital platforms including Active Learner, Paycom, KPA, and other company mandated systems.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers at all levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with diverse groups including customers, managers, contractors and well service personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and lead the crew in a fast-paced environment, identifying priorities and focusing on critical activities.

Additionally, the Electrical Field Supervisor (EFS) will display a high proficiency in the below competencies:

Professional: The EFS leads by example and proactively supports field operations through direct supervision to ensure company and client expectations are met or exceeded while diligently following prescribed Best Practices. EFS's consistently demonstrate the EVO PRISM culture and CARE values in everyday work activities while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all customer interactions. They provide clear direction to the crew, removing obstacles and clearly establishing priorities. The EFS should be well versed with the terms of the service agreement and job schedule and act as a key point of contact with the customers to provide a high degree of reliability and operational excellence.

Operational: The EFS will provide in-person physical presence, and direct supervision during critical operations, ensuring all expectations are met in the operation of the fleet. The FS will drive the utilization of data and digital platforms to improve fleet performance. The EFS has an extensive knowledge of all EVO equipment and services and is knowledgeable in the following key areas:

  • Customer Interaction, relationship, and engagement.
  • Leads all move planning and physical move activities.
  • Marking location on the pre-frac.
  • Full understanding and implementation of company goals.
  • Setting and stewarding goals of the fleets.
  • Oversight and management of the progression of the crew (perform bi-monthly assessment).

Leadership: The EFS will serve as an example and mentor to the entire crew. The EFS will clearly define and communicate daily goals and expectations to their field crews. They will directly mentor SSs on the continued development of the crew. The EFS will coach, as well as support the SS's mentorship of their assigned EOLs as well as mentor all field personnel and share their knowledge. EFSs will attend and apply Leadership and Management training provided by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADVANCEMENT: (Promotions may occupy after the following qualifications have been satisfied. Promotions are not guaranteed and are subject to availability of position openings.)

  • Time in position: Minimum 2 years
  • Successful completion of Radiation Safety program, NFPA70E training, and Operational Matrix prerequisites.
  • Successful completion of HR Manager Tools series.
  • Demonstrated ability to prove high aptitude in technical skillsets and competency assessments.

Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. When required to go to a wellsite, employees will rideshare with multiple employees.
