Job Purpose: This position reports to the Maintenance and Facilities Department. The primary function of this position is to maintain repairs and troubleshoots production machinery (e.g., CNC mills and lathes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems) and the facility infrastructure. The Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing or arranging for the repair of all building operating systems on the site.
Job Description: Responsible for all preventive maintenance, necessary maintenance and repairs to the buildings mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and to the production machinery or process equipment. This involves normal lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts (such as filters, indicator lights, etc.), and periodic testing of the equipment.
Monitors mechanical, electrical, HVAC plumbing, life safety, fire protection and security systems to ensure proper operations and takes action or reports any conditions that are out of the ordinary.
Tasking includes repairing equipment or developing alternative solutions to present as repair options. In some cases, a creative solution must be implemented to keep production operational while the technically best or correct solution is found.
Uses preventative maintenance and work order software systems.
Performs all assigned work, to ensure the safety of the building's tenants and the continuous operation of the site.
A major responsibility is to maintain a safe work environment for everyone on site.
Prioritizing work, finding efficient ways to accomplish tasks, and then communicating them are key to success.

High school education or GED required.
3 - 5 years Industrial Maintenance
Familiar with and have working knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, fire protection and security systems
Familiar with and have working knowledge of process equipment (CNCs, HPUs, Presses, etc.)
Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools.
Experience using presses, overhead cranes, pressure gauges and precision measuring instruments.
Excellent trouble-shooting and communication skills, e.g., evaluating symptoms, determining root causes.
Proven ability to read and interpret data from charts, gauges, dials, blueprints, schematics
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Shop environment with exposure to power machinery, heights, pressurized equipment, high noise levels, moving components, grease, dirt, sharp objects, LOTO, Confined space & Hot work.
Works 40 hours per week.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Numerous times daily, position requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, crawling and lifting of 30 - 50 pounds.
