Warehouse Logistics Coordinator
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Location: North Houston, 77060
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:

• Coordinate warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels
• Manage transportation planning and logistics, including freight and third-party logistics (3PL) providers
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, AS400, or similar to track inventory movements and process data collection
• Oversee shipping & receiving operations, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control
• Monitor supply chain analytics to optimize demand planning, pricing strategies, and inventory stocking
• Lead initiatives for process enhancement in materials handling, warehouse procedures, and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Support procurement activities by managing contracts, vendor relationships, and supplier performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling equipment

• Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics coordination, or supply chain roles with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400, and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Knowledge of inventory management techniques including MRP (Material Requirements Planning), demand planning, and inventory control
• Familiarity with freight forwarding processes and shipping & receiving procedures
• Experience operating a forklift
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and materials handling
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across departments
