Building Engineer

Pay Rate: 20-22/HR Hours: M-F 7am - 3:30pm, OT as needed. On call for emergencies only Location: 1001 North FM 3083 East, Conroe TX

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: This is a very physically grueling job, candidate must be comfortable walking up and down stairs all day long. This is a full industrial site. Full safety gear is required and provided. Steel toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, cut resistant gloves.

Team Overview: Working independently.

Resources typical working day: This is a work order guided position - Responsible for building and grounds, painting, mechanical work, basic plumbing, basic electrical.

Licenses/Certifications: Any applicable licenses preferred, not required.

Must Have Skills: Mechanical aptitude, basic electrical skills, basic plumbing skills, great customer service skills, must be comfortable going up on the roof.

Nice to have skills: Forklift experience, HVAC experience, dock door experience, leveler experience.

Years of Experience: Open to all experience levels.

Education: h.s. diploma or GED, trade school preferred, not required. Software skills: Basic computer skills, basic tablet skills, email/communication skills.

Interview Process: 1st round phone screen, 2nd round in person with H.M. including site tour.
