Job Summary/Purpose: Responsible for a renewable generation and energy storage project development team that supports the corporation's sustainability goals of reducing carbon emissions. Manage the expansion of the development pipeline through land acquisition; development asset purchases; greenfield project development activities; procurement of Owner's Engineer and other project support services; negotiation of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contracts; and providing oversight of all front-end loading stages for utility scale renewables or portfolios of projects to assure an effective hand-off to an oversight team for successful execution. This individual is a leader with demonstrated experience in project development with commercial acumen and a strong advocate for the partnering process with key stakeholders including internal/external support groups across Entergy and contractor partners. This individual is responsible for the leadership needs of his/her cross-functional team; executing a development strategy; applying his/her technology understanding and experience; and building an effective relationship network with key internal and external individuals.
