In this high-impact role, you'll sit at the center of project value creation, working across development, sales, engineering, operations, and executive leadership to deliver the financing solutions that bring our clean-energy assets to life.
Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of financing renewable energy projects, from business development and structuring to negotiation and execution of tax equity and back leverage transactions for distributed generation or utility power plant energy projects across the United States.
Enable sales organization through creation of tools and collateral as well as in-person support.
Build advanced financial models and perform in-depth analysis of both risks and returns to qualify opportunities and support investment decisions.
Manage financing transactions, ensuring timely and efficient financial closings with external financial partners.
Collaborate closely with other project stakeholders, including sales, project execution, O&M, asset management, legal, tax, and accounting.
Formulate investment theses and present investment opportunities to senior management.
Assist management in evaluating, negotiating and closing mergers and acquisitions in the distributed energy generation or utility power plant fields.
Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for financial innovation.
Develop and maintain a robust network of contacts in the US renewable energy industry, in particular in project finance.
Propose and help design, implement, maintain and continuously improve business processes in Structured Finance and the renewable energy business.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering.
Minimum Experience: Four (4) years of experience in energy finance, particularly in project finance, structured finance, and renewable energy initiatives.
