Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for an LPC/LCSW-Play Therapist based in Spring, TX, with flexibility for remote work as needed. The LPC/LCSW/ Play Therapist will provide therapeutic services to children and families, using play therapy methods to address emotional and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating play therapy sessions, and collaborating with caregivers and other professionals to ensure holistic care. The therapist will maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in practices to address a wide range of client needs.
  • Experience in Case Management, including coordinating resources and support services for clients and families.
  • Knowledge of Mental Health and Behavioral Health strategies to work effectively with children, adults, and families.
  • Current and valid LPC or LCSW license in the state of Texas.
  • Proficiency in play therapy techniques, including the ability to build rapport with children and create a safe therapeutic space.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment with reliable access to virtual tools for remote sessions.
  • Experience in trauma-informed therapy or specialized training in working with children is a plus.
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
