2025-2026 Summer Warehouse / Textook summer helpers @ Warehouse DepartmentInternal employees: Set to your account to internal before applying at Purpose:Assist in receiving, marking, storing, and delivering books, supplies, materials, and equipment; fill orders and perform routine housekeeping chores as directed.Requirements:Must be able to frequently lift 75 lbs, climb ladders and stairs, stoop, stand, and walk for long periods; must be able to work in a non-air conditioned environment and tolerate exposure to the elements; must be at least 16 years old as of June 5, 2024Positions available: Six (6)Hourly Pay Rate:The summer hourly rates for student workers are:* High School Student/Diploma: $15.00Location:Alief ISD Central Distribution, 12101 Seventh Street, Houston, TX 77072Length of assignment:Start 6/1/26 End 8/7/26DUTIES:* Fill orders and perform routine housekeeping chores as directed.* Maintain inventory in the assigned area.* File requisitions accurately, quickly, and in the prescribed order.* Make deliveries to district locations as required.* Make deliveries to support district functions as required.* Lifting: Heavy lifting and carrying on a daily basis.
