Analytics & Reporting Design Specialist

Role: Technical-Analytics and Reporting Specialist

Skills: Skilled in designing reporting solutions related to SAP transaction and accounting objects; good knowledge of the table structures and views in large-scale transaction systems. Skills with data modeling, database design, and SQL. Ability to write reports and dashboards using Business Objects, PowerBI, or equivalent reporting frontend tool.

Role Summary: As an Analytics & Reporting Design Specialist on the Information Services Commercial team, you will design and implement enterprise business intelligence solutions around the hydrocarbon supply chain, including the marketing, supply, trading, and transportation business functions. The reports, dashboards, and KPIs that you help implement will improve business processes, control costs, and increase profitability. The primary focus will be on project work, but you may also be involved in supporting and improving existing solutions. This includes, but is not limited to: trouble-shooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, user interaction, training, defining systems scope, gathering requirements, documenting design, functional specifications & test scripts, research and fact-finding, configuration, testing, reporting, cutover, IS and business user coordination

Experience: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent required. 5 years of relevant experience in functional analysis and design of reporting solutions required.
