Dedicated Caregiver Opportunity

At Always Best Care, we provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. With a strong focus on personal care, safety, and dignity, we are proud to be a trusted provider in the Greater Houston area. We are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to provide care for a married couple client in Humble, TX (77346).

This position is for day shifts, Monday through Friday, usually between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and involves providing basic care and companionship. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors who need reliable day-to-day support.

Responsibilities:

• Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide basic daily living assistance, including medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.
• Provide care and support to a married couple in their home.
• Monitor and track client well-being and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation, including driving the clients to appointments using the client's vehicle.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure quality care.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable driving clients using their vehicle.
• Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients.
