Food Production Worker

Summary

The Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with the preparation, movement, and handling of products in a food production environment. This role includes operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and performing sanitation duties to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. Team members must be flexible, safety-focused, and willing to assist where needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the production, handling, and movement of products within the facility
• Operate production equipment and machinery as assigned
• Inspect products and materials to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Load and unload racks, containers, and materials
• Move products in and out of coolers, freezers, and storage areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Follow all safety, food quality, and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Important: This position includes cleaning and sanitation tasks as part of regular job responsibilities, such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and removing trash. Candidates must be comfortable performing these duties.

Physical Activity & Work Conditions:

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in cold environments such as coolers and freezers
• Important: Ability to work safely around food allergens including chocolate, wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nuts

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to assist in different areas as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must successfully pass a background check and rapid drug screen.
