Position Overview:
As a Culinary Support Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of kitchen operations while contributing to a remarkable Guest experience. We are looking for individuals with high energy, an outgoing personality, and a passion for quality teamwork. This position also offers a pathway for culinary development for those interested.
Key Responsibilities:
Bring enthusiasm for food and maintain a lively attitude every day.
Prepare all necessary items for service following approved recipes and portion controls.
Adhere to and execute daily prep lists.
Ensure cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in line with health and safety guidelines.
Follow policies and procedures to reduce food waste, prevent theft, and guarantee safe food storage and sanitation.
Clean food preparation areas and equipment after use.
Communicate effectively with teammates to deliver an extraordinary dining experience to Guests.
Project a professional image through appropriate Cinemark culinary attire at all times.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures for maintenance of safety, sanitation, and food safety.
Regularly sanitize Employee and Guest high-contact areas.
Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed for specific tasks.
Adapt to varying cleaning tasks as necessary.
Monitor and report any safety or security concerns, including trip hazards and suspicious activities, to management.
Perform additional work-related duties as required.
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years old.
Complete basic food handling training and obtain any required local or state certifications (health card, food handlers permit).
Team Members working with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Regular and consistent attendance is essential.
Maintain an energetic and friendly demeanor during shifts.
Deliver exceptional Guest service with a smile.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to take and follow directions.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency in task completion.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Regular standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theater.
Noise levels may vary from moderate to high.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
