Warehouse Receiver

As a Warehouse Receiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our back-room operations run smoothly. You will manage incoming and outgoing freight shipments and products efficiently and accurately, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

• Embrace and support Cavender's Culture, aligning with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Efficiently receive and stock merchandise to boost productivity.
• Accurately process electronic purchase orders by matching them with vendor packing slips, noting any discrepancies.
• Handle electronic transfer documents with precision, ensuring all items are accounted for properly.
• Maintain and operate the barcode ticket printer, ensuring it's always ready and functioning.
• Tag merchandise accurately using the right tools and supplies.
• Inspect footwear for defects, ensuring items are paired correctly.
• Manage back stock merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Process returns and handle special orders effectively.
• Report any receiving or shipping issues promptly.
• Assist in training and guiding newer team members.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors to achieve company goals, such as web order completion rates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to follow basic instructions and interpret documents.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to understand complex tasks.
• Fluency in reading and understanding English is required.
• Capability to stay alert and engaged during your shifts.
