Description:

Office Clerk

The Office Clerk supports the service and installation departments in the Texas Access Controls Houston, TX location.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering telephone and directing calls to appropriate department.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing parts.
  • Entering alphabetic, numeric or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen.
  • Comparing data entered with source documents to detect errors.
  • Processing purchase orders.
  • Taking orders for residential install/service customers.
  • Assisting in scheduling and dispatching.
  • Providing backup support for office staff.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mathematical, Reasoning, and Language skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
