Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital is looking for a Dietary Aide in our newly renovated facility at 205 Hollow Tree Lane, Spring, TX .
The Dietary Aide assists in meal preparation, service, and cleanup while ensuring that all food is handled in compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to security protocols, and a commitment to providing nutritious meals to patients and facility residents.
Rate: $17.00 + DOE

Essential Functions:
Assist in meal preparation, portioning, and serving according to established dietary guidelines and individual dietary needs.
Responsible for delivering meals and snacks to patients and guests according to the facility policy.
Responsible for picking up trays from the room when meal complete.
Assemble all utensils, food serving supplies and food items necessary for the serving line.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food service areas, including kitchen equipment, dining areas, and storage spaces and maintain an accurate and complete count of all required tools.
Transport food, supplies, and garbage to designated areas.
Perform dish duties in a sanitary manner.
Maintain clean, orderly storage areas with all food items.
It is expected the incumbent will work overtime when directed to do so.
Regular and predictable attendance required.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. One year full-time, wage-earning experience in commercial or institutional food preparation or food service management. ServSafe Food Safety required - if not upon hire will gain within 10 days from hire date and must maintain. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Post Hire Requirements:
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements to include maintaining licenses, certifications, and passing an annual background check.
