Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Ensure each station; thermal clean, blasting, coating, QC, are operating efficiently and hitting production quotas. Ensure each stations lead operator is following all NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedures and QMS Procedures

• Assign coating plant operators their duties for the shift.

• Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.

• Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to Plant Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.

• Performing quality checks throughout production runs.

• Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.

• Ensure all QMS Reports or daily production reports are being completed by plant operators

• Directs all personnel issues including disciplinary action, performance reviews and administrative duties of shift.

• Any and all other job duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

Job Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills/ability to conduct large group meetings to shift personnel

• Mechanical aptitude as demonstrated by prior experience.

• Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions

• Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness.

• Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.

• Willing to be flexible with rotating weekends and some holidays as needed.

• Flexible and able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly, readily, and safely.

• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 2 years leadership experience in an industrial environment required.

• Prior coating and sand blasting experience preferred.

• NACE certification preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
