In everything we do, we aim to champion our employees and bring value to our customers, investors, and society./ppstrongEssential Functions/Responsibilities:/strong/pulliDetermine most cost-effective vehicle assignments./liliMake vehicle repair decisions using standard calculations and logic when the decision has been escalated to Fleet by our fleet management partner./liliWork with our fleet management partner and Field leadership to ensure registrations of all vehicles are up to date to ensure a positive experience for our drivers./liliQuickly and effectively respond to questions and requests from the Field via our ticket queue and email. This could also include working with the field on the phone./liliReview cost and operational trends and recommend improvements. In some cases, the employee will need to effectively manage related projects from cradle to grave./liliSupport the fleets safety culture by providing trainings when requested./liliActively seek ways to reduce the administrative load of the Fleet Team so more time can be spent on cost-out and optimization activities./liliAudit current processes and recommend improvements./liliEstablish and publish performance measurements to monitor and improve performance./liliCommunicate with contracted suppliers on a regular basis to leverage their support. Support the Fleet Manager in holding suppliers accountable./liliCommunicate effectively between cross functional teams and leadership./liliDemonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook./li/ulpstrongMinimum Requirements:/strong/pulliHS Diploma/lili3-4 years of relevant military experience/liliAnalytical skill set that helps solve issues by analyzing charts and trends and putting results into action./liliExcellent communications skills, including problem solving, team motivation, and project management./liliStrong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables/functions/data filtering)./li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliHave prior experience with fleet management systems and/or processes./liliSome college experience./liliDemonstrated ability to effectively manage projects./liliExposure to Power Query, Power Automate, and SQL./li/ulpNRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
