Join our team as a Baking Apprentice! We are looking for passionate individuals eager to learn and grow in the baking industry. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop your baking skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Update product labels and prices to ensure accurate information for customers.
2. Maintain cleanliness in the work area and bake shop equipment for a safe and hygienic environment.
3. Ensure display cases are well-stocked and visually appealing with a variety of baked goods.
4. Assist in placing the appropriate products in the display cases.
5. Prepare the baking oven with guidance from supervisors.
6. Learn to use essential baking equipment (mixers, fryers, etc.) under supervision.
7. Prepare various baked items such as bolillo, Conchas, cookies, and donuts with hands-on training.
8. Apply finishing touches to bread items, including sugar, icing, and decorations.
9. Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
10. Assist in preparing invoices as needed.
11. Be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
12. Maintain an organized and safe work environment by keeping the work area clean and free from hazards.
13. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
14. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read and comprehend at least at an eighth-grade level.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to write clear notes, instructions, orders, invoices, and descriptions for cake orders.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
