Description:

HR Coordinator

A large, well-established Oil & Gas organization is seeking an HR Coordinator to support smooth internal operations through strong administrative and HR coordination. This role will serve as a key liaison to an internal affiliate group and collaborate across departments to support HR processes, programs, and communications. This role is an indefinite contract role with no end date for the contract.

Position: HR Coordinator

Location: Downtown Houston (100% On-Site)

Parking: Monthly parking reimbursement provided

Schedule: MondayFriday | On-site

Contract Duration: Indefinite / Long-term contract

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for an internal business group, supporting daily HR coordination
  • Support internal recruiting activities including interview scheduling and follow-ups in partnership with the Talent Development team
  • Monitor HR task progress, manage incoming requests/tickets, and suggest process or tool improvements
  • Partner with Finance to support cost tracking, vendor maintenance, and invoice processing
  • Support HR programs and policies by coordinating communications and updates through internal channels (intranet)
  • Coordinate company-wide initiatives such as service award programs
  • Assist HR Business Partners with maintaining HR procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate employee and contractor records within HR databases/HRIS systems
  • Provide general administrative support and ensure day-to-day HR operations run efficiently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 23 years of experience in HR coordination or a related administrative role
  • Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently and collaboratively
  • HRIS experience preferred
  • Process improvement mindset is a plus
