Position summaryTo receive, deliver, and process incoming and outgoing mail in a professional and timely manner with a focus on accuracy, organization, and customer service within NOV's corporate environment.Duties and Responsibilities* Provide courteous, professional customer service to NOV employees and the public over-the-counter interactions, phone, and written correspondence.* Collect, sort, open, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.* Maintain accurate records of incoming mail and courier packages.* Prepare mail and packages for shipment: weigh items, determine postage, complete shipping documentation, and coordinate courier pickups and deliveries.* Resolve issues and respond to inquiries regarding incoming and outgoing courier deliveries.* Assist the Mail Room Supervisor with scanning and coding invoices, filing, and document archiving.* Support the Corporate Copy Center by preparing documents for scanning, printing, binding, coiling, and laminating.Qualifications* Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, NOV employees, and external parties.* Effective verbal communication skills, especially related to mail and customer support.* Proficient computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.* Proficient in written and spoken English.* Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines.Working Conditions* May require occasional weekday overtime.* Fast-paced mailroom and office support environment.Physical Requirements* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.* Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing 20-25+ pounds.
