Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. This role involves taking orders, handling cash transactions, and assisting with food preparation and bussing duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate the cash register and process payments using the POS system.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure all food items are presented beautifully.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma/ GED
• Food Handlers Certificate
• Previous experience in food service or a café setting is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with cash registers and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to the role.
